COSMOSEMS™ is a 3D-field simulator that allows electrical and electronic product designers to simulate the effect of components exposed to low frequency electromagnetic currents and fields.


COSMOSEMS can also evaluate the effectiveness of insulation and predict the forces acting on charged objects inside electric and magnetic fields.


Designed to be extremely flexible, COSMOSEMS can be used for a wide variety of electromagnetic simulations in everything from motors and alternators, sensors and actuators, power generators and transformer systems, to Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS).


Fully integrated with SolidWorks, COSMOSEMS simulates low-frequency electric currents and electric fields in conductive and capacitive systems, as well as magnetic fields resulting from currents or permanent magnets.


COSMOSEMS contains a comprehensive tool set for static, transient and harmonic low-frequency electromagnetic studies, permitting the simulation of electrostatic, magnetostatic, electromagnetic, electric circuit and current conduction.


The program also features a complete range of automatic calculations for force, torque, inductance, impedance, capacitance, Joule losses, field leakage, saturation, and electric and magnetic field strengths.
