To help you obtain the required software skills specific for your industry here are our recommendations for a training learning path to get you up to speed quickly. The training is split into two phases, after taking the initial training in phase 1, you should spend a few months using the software to get the most out of the advanced courses in phase 2. To reduce the cost of completing the training we offer an industry specific subscription program to take only the courses listed at a reduced rate.

Phase 2: Industry Specific Training (8 days)

SolidWorks Advanced Part Modeling Course (2 days)

Advanced Part Modeling teaches you how to use multibody solids, sweeping and lofting features, and the more advanced shaping capabilites of Solidworks.

SolidWorks Surface Modeling Course (2 days)

Advanced Surface Modeling teaches you how to build freeform shapes using SolidWorks mechanical design automation software.

SolidWorks Simulation Course (2 days)

This course is designed to make SolidWorks users productive more quickly with the SolidWorks Simulation Bundle. It offers a comprehensive hands-on training on the applications of SolidWorks Simulation. This 2 day course will provide an in-depth coverage on the basics of Finite Element Analysis, covering the entire analysis process from meshing to evaluation of results for parts and assemblies. The class discusses linear stress analysis, gap/contact analysis, and best practices.

SolidWorks Simulation Nonlinear Course (2 days)

This class will raise your SolidWorks Simulation FEA skills to the next level! It offers hands-on experience on the use of SolidWorks Simulation nonlinear module. The course provides an overview on a wide range of nonlinear structural/mechanical analysis topics. You will learn how to deal with models that exhibit large displacements and/or yielding, discuss and practice the use of many material models available in SolidWorks Simulation and, most importantly, how to drive a non-linear analysis to successful completion

Sheet Metal teaches you how to build sheet metal parts using SolidWorks mechanical design automation software. Building standalone sheet metal parts, converting parts to sheet metal, and modeling sheet metal parts in the context of an assembly are covered.

SolidWorks Advanced Surfacing (2 days)

Advanced Surface Modeling teaches you how to build freeform shapes using SolidWorks mechanical design automation software.

Electronics Industry (8 days)

Understand how to create routed systems in SolidWorks for cable, wire, tube and harness design. Requires the use of the SolidWorks Premium Package. Also learn how to analyze your electrical designs with COSMOSFloWorks.

Routing explains how to create, edit and manage Piping Tubing and Electrical routes, from the critical routing components and their design requirements to the sub-assemblies that contain the routes.

CircuitWorks (1 days)

SolidWorks Flow Simulation Course (2 days)

This two-day, hands-on training program provides an in-depth session on the basics of turbulent fluid flow analysis, in addition to covering meshing concerns, modeling concerns, analysis, post-processing, available options and preferences. This will enable the electronics user to analyze electrical enclosure with forced convection cooling.


Machine Design Industry (14 days)
